Who’s on Your Team?

They hate you! They don’t like you! Nobody likes you! As a matter of fact, you only have one faithful soldier. And they all think you don’t know what you doin!

This is classic ghetto psychology. The devil tried a similar approach with Eve in the garden and won.

One wise person suggests that relational storms, fights, and quarrels come from internal motivations (James 4).

The principal allowed this teacher to speak his mind in a listening session. The rules of listening call for allowances; a skill that is not innate, rather developed and informed normally by professional training. He (the principal) did not have to be part of this so-called conversation, but in order to establish a baseline behavior for the employee (the teacher), it was important to hear him out.
